Yoga in Caherdaniel | 6 Week Block | Monday, 7 September @ 6:30pm - 7:30pm
€90.00

Join me in the Parish Hall in Caherdaniel for 6 weeks of deeply nourishing yoga practice designed to support both your body and your mind. These classes will blend the grounding stability of Hatha Yoga with the fluid, energising flow of Vinyasa, creating a practice that feels calming yet refreshing.

Each session focuses on deep, mindful stretching to release tension from the muscles, weight-bearing postures to strengthen and support bone health, and conscious, functional movement that helps regulate the nervous system and restore balance from within.

You’ll be guided to move with awareness, listening to your own body rather than strict alignment cues. Every pose is offered with gentle variations, making the class accessible and empowering for all levels of ability, whether you’re new to yoga, returning to your mat after some time away or a seasoned yogi.

My intention is for you to leave each class feeling more at ease in your body - carrying that sense of calm and steadiness with you long after you roll up your mat.

Introduction to Yin Yoga | Workshop | Saturday 3 October @ 10:30am-12:30 | Aislinn Yoga Lodge, Waterville
€50.00

INTRODUCTION TO YIN YOGA

Saturday 3 October · 10:30–12:30

Yin Yoga is a practice of slowing down.

Rather than moving through a sequence of poses at a steady pace like we do in a regular haha/vinyasa class, we settle into shapes for longer periods of time, allowing  the space to notice what’s happening in the body, the breath and the mind.

But Yin isn’t about how deeply you can get into a pose, or how closely you can make your body resemble a picture.

My approach to Yin is centred around sensation rather than shape.

We’ll explore how to find an appropriate edge for your body, settle into stillness, and stay long enough to really experience the pose. There is no one “right” version of a Yin posture. Everyone’s anatomy is different, so everyone’s experience of a pose will be slightly different too.

You’ll learn how to establish a “tolerable discomfort” that is appropriate for your body and use props to help you get there. We’ll spend time getting into the pose, spend time in the pose and importantly, take time to come out of each pose and pause. These moments of quiet, noticing the subtle changes and sensations that arise afterwards, are an important part of the practice.

Yin is a practice that is appropriate for everyone but it can be particularly useful if you find yourself dealing with chronic tightness in the muscles. The long holds are magic for kneading out tension from the body and are a great way recognising deep seated holding patterns in the body which contribute to this tightness.

During the workshop we’ll explore:

• What Yin Yoga is

• The principles of depth, stillness and time

• How to work with sensation rather than striving for a particular shape

• Functional anatomy and why Yin poses can look different in every body

• How to use props to make the practice work for you

• The importance of the pause and the experience that follows a pose

• A complete Yin practice, bringing everything together

This is an introduction, so no previous experience of Yin Yoga is needed.

Come as you are, get comfortable, slow things down and give yourself two hours to simply notice.

Our practice will close with a Yoga Nidra guided relaxation follow by tea and a nourishing snack.

Private Yoga Sessions

Personal Yoga | One-to-one yoga, created around you.
from €50.00

Personal Yoga

One-to-one yoga, created around you.

Yoga doesn't have to be a one-size-fits-all practice.

Personal Yoga gives you the time and space to explore yoga in a way that is completely suited to your body, your experience and what you would like to achieve.

Whether you're new to yoga, looking to become stronger or more flexible, returning to movement after time away, or simply want a practice that feels more personal, we'll work together to create something that is right for you.

What would you like to work towards?

Your practice might focus on:

  • Building strength and stability

  • Improving flexibility and mobility

  • Developing balance and body awareness

  • Supporting an active lifestyle

  • Creating a regular home practice

  • Building confidence with yoga

  • Returning to movement after a period of inactivity

  • Creating space to slow down and reconnect with your body

There is no expectation that you need to be flexible, experienced or already "good at yoga". We start exactly where you are.

Your practice. Your pace.

Our first session begins with a conversation about you — your experience, your goals and what you'd like to get from yoga.

From there, your practice is shaped around you. Depending on what you need, sessions may include traditional Hatha and Vinyasa practices, strength and mobility work, breathwork, relaxation and time to explore particular areas of your practice in more depth.

As we work together, your practice can evolve with you.

Who is Personal Yoga for?

Personal Yoga is particularly suited to anyone who would benefit from individual guidance rather than a group class.

It can be a wonderful option if:

You're new to yoga
Perhaps you've always wanted to try yoga but feel more comfortable starting privately.

You want to work towards a specific goal
Maybe you'd like to touch your toes, improve your balance, build strength or simply feel more comfortable in your body.

You're returning to movement
Private sessions allow us to start gently and build your confidence at a pace that feels appropriate for you.

You practise another sport
Yoga can complement walking, running, cycling, hiking, golf and other physical activities by giving you dedicated time to work on mobility, strength and recovery.

You want to deepen your existing practice
Individual guidance gives us the opportunity to look more closely at your technique, movement and areas you'd like to develop.

A little more space to focus on you.

Sessions take place privately at Aislinn Yoga Lodge, surrounded by the quiet of the Kerry countryside.

There is no need to keep up with anyone else and no pressure to perform. Just dedicated time to move, breathe, learn and develop a practice that belongs to you.

Personal Yoga Sessions

Initial session — 75 minutes

Your first session includes time to talk through your goals and experience before moving into a personalised practice.

Follow-up sessions — 60 minutes

Each subsequent session builds on what we've discovered together, allowing your practice to develop over time.

You can book a single session or choose to work together over a series of sessions.

If you're not sure whether Personal Yoga is right for you, get in touch and we can have a conversation before you book.

Private Yin | A slower practice, created around you.
from €60.00

Private Yin

A slower practice, created around you.

Sometimes what we need from yoga isn't more movement, more effort or another thing to achieve.

Sometimes we simply need to slow down.

Private Yin gives you the time and space to settle, soften and turn your attention inwards. With longer-held poses, quiet awareness and plenty of time to breathe, each session is shaped around what your body and mind need on the day.

A practice for slowing down.

Private Yin may be particularly suited to you if you're looking to:

  • Release physical tension

  • Slow down after a busy or stressful period

  • Create more space and stillness in your life

  • Explore a slower style of yoga

  • Give your body time to rest and restore

  • Develop greater awareness of your body and breath

  • Simply step away from the demands of everyday life

There is nowhere you need to get to and nothing you need to achieve.

The practice is about finding an appropriate edge in each pose, staying curious about what you feel and allowing the body time to respond.

Yin, but personal.

In a group class, we work with a sequence designed for everyone in the room.

In a private session, we have the freedom to make the practice much more personal.

We'll take time to understand how you're feeling, where you hold tension and what you'd like from the practice. Poses, variations, props and the pace of the session can then be adapted to you.

You don't need to be experienced or flexible to practise Yin.

In fact, Yin can be a wonderful place to begin if you're drawn to a quieter, slower approach to yoga.

Come as you are.

Some days you may arrive feeling physically tight and want to explore movement and sensation.

Other days you may simply need to be still.

The practice can change with you.

A private Yin session gives you permission to put everything else down for a while and spend an hour doing very little - deliberately.

Private Yin at Aislinn Yoga Lodge

Sessions take place in the quiet surroundings of Aislinn Yoga Lodge, where the pace of the outside world can begin to feel a little further away.

Props are provided and the studio is prepared so that you can simply arrive, settle onto your mat and begin.

Your Private Yin Session

75 minutes

We'll begin with a few moments to arrive and check in before moving into a personalised Yin practice. The session finishes with time for stillness and relaxation, with no need to rush away afterwards.

You can book a single session or arrange a series of sessions if you'd like to make Yin a more regular part of your practice.

If you're not sure whether Private Yin is right for you, get in touch and we can have a conversation before you book.

Chair Yoga | Yoga that meets you where you are.
from €50.00

Chair Yoga

Yoga that meets you where you are.

You don't need to get down onto a yoga mat to experience the benefits of yoga.

Chair Yoga is a gentle, accessible approach to movement that uses a chair for support, allowing you to explore yoga in a way that feels comfortable and appropriate for your body.

It can be a wonderful way to maintain movement, strength, flexibility and confidence when getting down onto the floor is difficult or simply doesn't feel right for you.

Movement, without the pressure.

Your practice might focus on:

  • Improving mobility and range of movement

  • Building strength and stability

  • Supporting balance and coordination

  • Maintaining flexibility

  • Developing greater body awareness

  • Moving with more confidence

  • Creating a regular movement practice

  • Taking time to breathe, relax and unwind

The aim isn't to push your body into shapes it isn't ready for.

Instead, we work with your body as it is today, exploring what feels good and gradually building from there.

A practice adapted to you.

One-to-one Chair Yoga gives us the freedom to tailor every session to your individual needs and abilities.

We'll begin by talking about how you're currently moving, what you'd like to improve and anything that you find challenging.

From there, we'll build a practice using the chair for support. Depending on your needs, this may include seated movements, gentle strength work, standing poses, balance exercises, mobility, breathing and relaxation.

You don't need any previous yoga experience.

Who is Chair Yoga for?

Chair Yoga can be particularly helpful if you:

Find getting down onto the floor difficult
You can practise many yoga movements and techniques while remaining seated or using the chair for support.

Would like to improve your mobility
Gentle, consistent movement can help you stay connected to your body and maintain your range of movement.

Would like to feel stronger and more stable
Sessions can include simple strength and stability exercises adapted to your current ability.

Feel less confident with balance or movement
The chair provides a stable point of support, allowing you to explore movement with greater confidence.

Are returning to movement after time away
Private sessions give you the space to begin at your own pace, without having to keep up with a group.

Simply want a more accessible way to practise yoga
Yoga is not about how deeply you can move into a pose. It's about developing a relationship with your body through movement, breath and awareness.

You don't have to be flexible to practise yoga.

You don't have to be strong.

You don't have to be able to touch your toes or sit on the floor.

You simply have to be willing to begin where you are.

Private Chair Yoga at Aislinn Yoga Lodge

Sessions take place in the peaceful surroundings of Aislinn Yoga Lodge, with the practice adapted entirely to you.

The studio provides a quiet, private environment where you can take your time, ask questions and develop confidence in your movement without comparison or pressure with an experienced teacher.

Your Private Chair Yoga Session

60 minutes

Your first session gives us time to understand your needs, your experience with movement and what you'd like to work towards. We'll then create a gentle practice that you can continue to develop through future sessions.

You can book a single session or arrange regular weekly or fortnightly sessions to make movement a consistent part of your routine.

If you're unsure whether Chair Yoga would be suitable for you, get in touch before booking and we can have a conversation.
